Duration
Depends on individual issues:
- CBT – 12 sessions
- Psychodynamics – 20-40 sessions
Patients must be committed. Once a week is common.
Requirements to be a psychotherapist:
Either:
- Clinical psychologist with psychotherapy training
- Psychiatrist
- Workshop with motivational interviewer
